Nomi Pitch Therapy
For Individuals and Couples
About Nomi
Nomi Pitch is a Swiss-born Therapist who grew up in the suburbs of Washington DC. She received her MA in Expressive Art Therapy at Lesley University, and began her career working with individuals suffering from a negative body image and eating disorders. Nomi saw the connection between these symptoms and an unhealthy sex life and continued her training in Sex Therapy at Bar Ilan University. This lead her to further train as a Marriage and Family Counselor at Bar Ilan University. She has since been treating individuals and couples in Israel and the United States with sexual, gender, sexual identity, alternative sexuality and intimacy struggles. Her approach incorporates the creativity within Expressive Art Therapy, using images and other art forms to assist when words might be limiting or overly revealing. In addition she considers the mind-body relationship towards healing, with a particular sensitivity towards issues relating to multicultural relationships.
During the past 20 years Nomi treated patients in individual and group settings, benefitting them by conversing in their language of comfort, either English or Hebrew. She practiced in both her private clinic as well as organizations including Choices Counseling & Consulting, Shahaf Eating Disorders in the Community, Yad Sara, Ministry of Education, ALUT, Nitzan and Reut Rehabilitation Hospital. Today Nomi continues to practice from her private clinic in Tel Aviv and Rehovot.
